Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. EFT tapping is an incredibly powerful way of releasing the emotional attachment to any traumatic event. It is currently being used by the U.S military to treat PTSD with its veterans.The trauma has happened and there is nothing anyone can do about that, but with Emotional Freedom Technique your perspective of the event will change. After EFT, the clients perspective usually changes to "I can still remember it, but I cant feel anything towards it anymore"
Pain is normal. It is our bodies way of communicating that something is wrong and stops us further damaging our bodies. Much of the pain we experience however is not serving this purpose.It is old emotional stuff that the body has not processed out.Most ,if not all physical issues have an emotional root.Using EFT we work with you to tune into that stuck emotion and clear it, and in doing so clear the physical pain.
EFT Tapping is an amazing tool when used to clear fears and phobias. Fear of public speaking being a very common problem.We will tune you into that fear and tap out the energy disturbance that a fear or phobia needs to exist. Usually when dealing with fears and phobias there are many aspects of the fear to be cleared. When the fear or phobia is cleared, its cleared forever.
Anxiety and depression are very complex emotional problems often rooted in early life. We will work together to get to the root cause of the anxiety or depression and begin to clear difficult memories one by one.
In the first large-scale study of 5000 patients seeking treatment for anxiety across 11 clinics over a 5.5-year period, patients received either traditional anxiety treatment in the form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with medication if needed, or acupoint tapping with no medication.An improvement was found in 90% of patients who received tapping therapy compared to 63% of the CBT participants. Only 3 tapping sessions were needed before an individual’s anxiety reduced, while an average of 15 was needed for CBT to show results. Complete relief of symptoms was seen in 76% of people in the acupoint taping group compared with 51% of people in the CBT group. One year later, the improvements seen were maintained by 78% of the tapping group compared with 69% of the CBT group.
A session can be arranged over zoom or skype and the results are no different than a session in person. I am back doing in person sessions now in line with the easing of covid restrictions.
